CYSTEAMINE Reduces dark melanin in the stratum corneum through an antioxidant effect. It delivers a physiologically powerful antioxidant activity in the skin with multiple effects on the melanogenic pathways. It is significantly stronger than hydroquinone and with very low risk according to published study by Mansouri et al (2015) British Journal of Dermatology 173 (1) 209–217.
